The Mini Paceman concept was unveiled yesterday and Ian Robertson, member of BMW AG’s board, said that Mini will indeed build a production version.
Robertson said that the production Paceman coupe crossover will arrive after the Mini Roadster, which will go on sale in 2012. The production model will be build on the Countryman’s platform.

“We’ will take this car into engineering now and over the next few months we’ll firm up the exact launch date for it,” Robertson said.
No word on what the production Paceman will be called.
