2011 Detroit: 2011 Chrysler 300 says ‘ciao’ to Detroit

The new 2011 Chrysler 300 was fully revealed today at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show. It will be available in four models: the base 300, 300 Limited, 300C and 300C AWD.
The new 300 will be powered by the all-new, flex-fuel capable 3.6L Pentastar V6, which makes 292hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. But despite the new engine, it will be mated to what is seemingly an obsolete five-speed automatic transmission with a manual function. The 300C will be powered by the traditional 5.7L HEMI V8 which is good for 363hp.
Prices for the base 300 will start just short of $28k where as the top-of-the-line 300C AWD with the HEMI will start at $41,145.
Our take? It has some Italian-ness to it.
