Report: Subaru planning design overhaul for its lineup
According to sources from Japan, Subaru plans on implementing the aggressive design cues seen in the Subaru Impreza Design Concept across its full range over the next couple of years. The new design changes will be coupled with some fresh engineering including an all-new hybrid powertrain.
Insiders say that Subaru will incorporate design influences from the Subaru Impreza Design Concept in the upcoming coupe that it is jointly developing with Toyota, know as the 086A to Subaru and FT-86 to Toyota. A hybrid variant of the Legacy will also be getting some major upgrades to its looks.
All we have to say is… it’s about time.
