Following a somewhat disappointing 2009, sales of the Ford F-Series pickups rebounded by at least 21 percent in 2010.
In 2009, Ford sold only 413,625 F-Series pickups and in 2008 it sold 515,513 units. In 2010 so far, Ford has sold more than 500,000 F-150 light-duty and F-250, F-350 and F-450 heavy-duty trucks, according to Ford spokeswoman Anne Marie Gattari.
That’s around an outstanding 9,800 pickups per week on an annualized basis.
As if that wasn’t enough good news for the F-Series pickups, the models are also marking their 34th year as the best-selling pickups in the United States and the 29th year as the best-selling vehicle in the United States.
