Porsche 918 Spyder Clay Model

Porsche is making its much-anticipated return to the Detroit Auto Show this year and we heard reports earlier this month that the automaker plans on showing a “spectacular” model at the show next month.

“At the North American International Auto Show in Detroit (January 10 to 23) Porsche will be giving a new model its world debut – and various other models their first showing in the USA,” Porsche confirmed in a short press release today. “The premieres will be broadcast live on the Porsche website www.porsche.com/detroit as webcasts.”

So if you’re a huge Porsche fan, you can tuned into the webcasts and see what the automaker has up its sleeve.

We’re hoping for a production version of the Porsche 918 Spyder.
