Jeep is hoping to increase sales outside of North America by over 20 percent next year. The brand hopes to have the redesigned 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the 2011 Jeep Compass to help increase sales.

“I am looking for our international business to grow significantly, in excess of 20 percent,” Jeep CEO Mike Manley said. “Initial orders from the U.S. and our international markets indicate that the demand will be significantly higher than the previous Compass.”

In the 2009 calendar year, Jeep sold 60,888 units outside of North America. Through the end of Nov. 2010, Jeep sold 67,029 units outside of North America, a 22 percent increase over the same 11 month period in 2009.

The Jeep Compass accounted for 11,716 units sold outside of North America through November of 2010, a 47 percent increase over the same period in 2009.
