While the Lancia Thema will be a rebadged version of the new 2011 Chrysler 300, it will get some minor changes including a different grille and Euro-spec bumpers. Lancia expects 80 percent of Thema sales to come from a new 230-hp 3.0L V6 turbodiesel engine built by VM Motori. The diesel engine will also offer the same gasoline engines as the Chrysler 300.

Lancia does not expect the Thema to be a volume seller and estimated annual sales between 10,000 to 15,000. Volume sale expectations will be left to the Ypsilon.
The Lancia Thema and the Chrysler 300 will be built at Chrysler’s Brampton, Ontario plant.
