Volkswagen New Midsize Sedan (Leaked)

The upcoming Volkswagen midsize sedan for the U.S. market, which will replace the Passat, will debut at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show next. However, before we see it in person, alleged photos of the model have hit the internet courtesy of jokeforblog.blogspot.com. A reliable source? We’re not sure. News worthy? Of course, it is.

The Volkswagen midsize sedan will go on sale in the third quarter of 2011 and will be produced at the Chattanooga, Tenn. factory. Prices are expected to start around $20,000.

i would buy this instead of a camry but… i’m not in the market for a camry. I guess I’ll keep driving my 10 year old passat instead until i can get a 320d or m-b c-class diesel.

if that’s the new passat, what a disappointment, its like they went back 10 years in design work, and came up with a 5 year old Honda Accord. What happened to VW. . .???

Totally boring … what are they thinking at Volkswagen? Looks like VW plans to go down the path of eventual failure by emulating Toyota down to the blandest detail.
