Which is faster? A golf ball hit by Callaway Gold’s Stuart Appleby or a 550-hp Lamborghini Gallardo? Recently, at the Sandown Racecourse outside of Melbourne, Australia, Appleby showed off Callaway’s new Diablo Octane Driver and went head-to-head with a 550-horsepower Gallardo to determine which would win in a 275 yard race.

The event celebrated Diablo Octane’s entry into the golf world along with the recent Research and Development alliance announced by Callaway Golf and Automobili Lamborghini.
