Hour-glass Street Light Concept

Being stuck at a red light or knowing how long the light will stay yellow so you can either speed up or slow down is one of most annoying feelings that comes with having the pleasure to drive. Well, designer Thanva Tivawong is out to change all that with his new hour-glass street light model. The yellow light shows a “3, 2, 1″ countdown warning people to either stop or get ready to accelerate. The LED light design trickle down showing you how much time left for the lights to change.

Of course, it seems to be the dream of a street racer.

A clever idea, but a big problem for colorblind people.
