2010 LA: BMW Concept 6-Series Coupe

Following its debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, the BMW Concept 6-Series Coupe made its North American debut today at the 2010 LA Auto Show. The production version of the next-generation 6-Series will arrive in early 2011 followed by the M6 later on in the year.

How different will the production 6-Series look from the concept we see here. Not different at all – in fact it will introduce new technologies to the production model including the full LED headlights and a newly designed, freestanding Control Display for the iDrive operating system.

    BMWs last Generation of its series line up was much more diverse. It appears BMW wants its current and future line up to be much more uniform. Very interesting change and would be hard to tell one series from the next if you only looked at the line up from the front and rear like Audi. The side lines are the main difference.
