2010 LA Preview: 2012 Mazda5 and Shinari coming to the U.S.
The 2010 LA Auto Show is around two weeks away and Mazda North America has announced that it will debut the 2012 Mazda5 minivan, which made its debut earlier this year at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show (as a 2011 model year). Standing alongside the Mazda5 will be the Shinari Concept, which made its debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.
The 2012 Mazda5 will hit dealerships later this year and will be powered by a 2.5L MZ4 inline 4-clyinder engine making 157-hp. It will be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
