Spy Shots: 2012 BMW 6-Series Convertible prototype spotted in Pennsylvania
A couple of days ago an image claiming to be the first real shot of the 2012 BMW 6-Series Convertible hit the Internet – we still have some doubts about that image. Giving our doubts some ease, spy shots of the 2012 BMW 6-Series Convertible on U.S. soil are now making their way around the web.
These shots were taken somewhere in rural Pennsylvania and as you can tell by the pictures, BMW is still trying to keep the model covered with some crazy camouflage.
According to BMWBlog, the 2012 6-Series will hit markets in march with the 650i Convertible hitting showrooms first. That will be followed by the 650i Coupe in July. Both of those will be followed by the BMW 640i Coupe and Convertible in September 2011. An xDrive variant of the 650i will also launch around the same time.
