Top Gear: Donut Trailer

The folks at the History Channel have just confirmed that that Top Gear USA will be officially airing on Nov. 21. So set your Tivos, DVRs or just be home in front of the TV by 10 p.m./9C.

Of course, many have doubts that hosts Tanner Foust, Rutledge Wood and Adam Ferrara will be able to live up to their British counterparts (Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May), but if you check out the two new trailers that the History Channel just dropped – you just might change your mind.

Oh, and we’ll have our own Stig as well.

    It will be fine for people who have never watch the British version. However for those who have watched the British version this is a rather poor imitation. The format is too similar and the enthusiam seems forced in the “trailers”. I think they should do a little bit different type of show. For example they should have guest host women periodically. Maybe a bit of reality TV could somehow be thrown in. In order for it to succeed among gearheads who have been watching the British show it has to significantly different.

    i’m pretty indifferent. i’m not expecting anything too impressive, but hopefully the show will be a pleasant surprise. like Pngrant54 said, they just have to do their own thing instead of trying to be like the brits
