1985 Ferrari 288 GTO at Bonneville

What you see here is apparently the world’s fastest Ferrari, which is not officially built by the Italian automaker. Basically, it’s a 1985 288 GTO and its creators, known as P4 by Norwood, took out its’s original motor and dropped a 8.8L GM V8 that helps it produce 2,000-hp to 2,500-hp with the assistance of two Borg Warner turbos.

How fast is this Ferrari. Well it recently hit a top speed of 275.401mph at the Bonneville salt flats in Utah.

Check out the video of it all after the jump.

Not a true Ferrari if it does not have a Ferrari engine. Still cool though!
