Motor Trend compares Hyundai Equus to Bentley Mulsanne

Oh no they didn’t… oh yes, they did.

Refresher:

  • Bentley Mulsanne: Power for the 2011 Bentley Mulsanne comes from a 6.75L twin-turbocharged V8 making 505-hp with a maximum torque of 752 lb-ft. Mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, the Mulsanne can go from 0-60 mph in 5.1 seconds with a top speed of 184 mph. Prices start at $285,000.
  • Hyundai Equus: The 2011 Equus will hit dealerships in two configuration including Equus Signature and Equus Ultimate. Both will be powered by a 4.6L Tau V8 making 385-hp / 333 lb-ft of torque (378-hp / 324 lb-ft using regular fuel) mated to a ZF 6-speed automatic. Prices will start around $55,000.

    after seeing that for the $$ ill take the hyundai…you get the same creature comforts for 1/3 the cost…thats a no brainer….ill keep the rest of the $$ in a large cap mutual fund and get richer!
