In August, Mercedes-Benz confirmed that the SLS AMG GT3 is ready to take on the racetrack with deliveries to start in February 2011. At the time, the company also firmed that the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 is being tested on Lausitz Eurospeedway, Sachsenring circuit and the Nurburgring Nordschleife.

Refresher: Power the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 comes from the same 6.3L AMG V8 as the production model making 563-hp with a maximum torque of 479 lb-ft. The racing model is built to comply with the GT3 specifications of the FIA and is designed as a racing sports car for customers competing in sprints and long-distance races. Prices start at €334,000 ($429,526 USD).
