Toyota confirms new Prius model to debut at 2011 Detroit Auto Show
Earlier this week, Toyota teased a new Prius minivan variant on its Facebook account. Toyota today used it Twitter account to confirm that a new Prius model will debut at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show in January.
“Toyota exec Don Esmond just announced the next member of the Prius family will be revealed at 2011 Detroit Auto Show in Jan.,” Toyota’s Twitter status read. “Next member of the Prius family (to be revealed at Detroit Auto Show) will be all-new model w/ more comfort, style and versatility.”
No idea why Toyota won’t unveil the model at the 2010 LA Auto Show since California is all about hybrids and alternative fuel vehicles.
