2010 Paris: Range Rover Evoque 5-door confirmed, first image released
At the 2010 Paris Motors Show, Land Rover’s Managing Director Phil Popham confirmed today that Land Rover will be producing a 5-door version of the Range Rover Evoque which will be revealed later this year.
The 5-door version of the Evoque will join the 2-door version for those customers who need a more practical people carrier but don’t want to move up in the Land Rover lineup. We expect power to come from the same 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged Ford EcoBoost (only it”s not called EcoBoost) making 240-hp mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The Range Rover Evoque will be sold in 160 countries worldwide, with deliveries to start from fall 2011.
