Photo Rendering: Next-generation BMW M6

The folks over at BimmerBoost have put together some renderings that give us a preview of what the next-generation BMW M6 could look like. The renderings are based on the BMW Concept 6-Series Coupe which will debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show later this week.

We’re not sure what will power the next-generation BMW M6 but we have a pretty strong feeling that the model will carry the same engine as the next-generation BMW M5. The 2012 BMW M5 is rumored to carry a twin-turbo V8 making between 585 to 600-hp.

What has happened at BMW? Their new cars are HUGE, they perform worse than their predecessors, and this new 6 is as girly as a Camry Solara. When did MB and BMW switch roles? I feel like this car is trying to become a competitor to the CL and Conti GT…and it is failing miserably. No wonder Audi and Jaguar are selling so well now.
