2011 North American Car and Truck of the Year

The following is a short-list of all the model being considered for the 2011 North American Car and Truck of the Year. On December 16, three finalists from each category will be announced, with the winner getting its fame and award at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show in January.

As you can probably see from the list Ford, General Motors and Hyundai / Kia lead the list.

The winner will be chosen by a pool of 50 U.S. and Canadian automotive journalists from various publications.

    I think Jeep Grand Cherokee will win as Truck of the Year, but in the car segment, it will be the year of the electrics: Volt vs Leaf. Good list, though.
