AMS offers Honda CR-Z body kit

Japanese tuning firm AMS has unveiled a new tuning package for the new Honda CR-Z hybrid hatchback. While no performance upgrades are offered, the new tuning package brings a more aggressive look to one of the sportiest hybrids on the market.
A part of AMS’s Terra line of aero parts, the kit will include a new front bumper, headlight eyelids, 0.6-inch-wider front and 2.75-inch-wider rear fenders along with side skirts that come out 1.8 inches. A roof lip, a large hatch spoiler, and a glossy rear diffuser will also be added
The tuner is also offering a of 19-inch piano black and pearl white Rays Versus Torismo Rechente wheels.
The whole kit will be priced at around $7,000.

Refresher: The 2011 Honda CR-Z is powered by a 1.5L i-VTEC mated to Honda”s Integrated Motor Assist hybrid system. It produces a total of 122-hp and a maximum torque of 128 lb-ft. When mated to a 6-speed manual, the CR-Z returns an EPA-estimated 31/37/34 mpg (city/highway/combined). With the CVT transmission, the CR-Z returns 35/39/37 mpg.
