BMW Concept 6-Series Coupe

Over the weekend, BMW dropped pictures of the BMW Concept 6-Series Coupe, which is basically a production version of the next-generation 6-Series sports car by the German brand. The design closely resembles the Concept Gran Coupe that BMW unveiled at the 2010 Beijing Motor Show in April.

In our opinion the design has improved significantly especially at the front-end where the 6-Series stops looking sad and depressed and more like an animal in the wild. The rear end of the next-generation 6-Series has also been given aggressive styling with wider stance.

    A clear improvement over the previous model espaecially at the tail. The car looks a bit sleeker now as well.

    Somewhat reminds me of the new accord coupe, but never-the-less a classy looking car. Finally they got rid of that hideous boot lid!

    All the aggressiveness of the car is gone, all the appeal of a sports coupe is no more. Now a very feminine car, congrats to ladies!

    This new one tries to take a stab at the new XK and looks like a Camry Solara or Avalon, and it will even more similar when the convertible debuts.

    It needs to mature more, the last car to have braces was the Sebring from the 90s.

    No. The Grancoupe concept or whatever the 4-door concept was looked much better. This is bland. I’m worried about BMW’s design direction. The new 7-series is less interesting than the LS460. The Z4 and 5-series look good however.

    Nothing special. Shows lack of creativity. Looks like a stretched 3-series, which is already a dated and obsolete design.
