2010 Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR-X

Yesterday, Chrysler Group LLC hosted a record number of its dealers at the company’s 2010 Dealer Announcement Show in Orlando. More than 75 percent of Chrysler Group”s 2,314 U.S. dealers attended the event and were shown over 17 new products.

Besides the few products we saw yesterday (check out the list we created for you here), Chrysler Group dealers were also shown a successor to the Dodge Viper in concept form and a Jeep pickup concept.

“The concept vehicle displayed at the meeting had been painted more than 25 times with a candy-apple red to give it a sleek appeal,” reports The Wall Street Journal. “The vehicle is more upscale and has moved away from its race car image. Dealers said they were told the company”s new product committee took one look at the Viper and unanimously approved its production within five minutes.” The next-generation Dodge Viper is scheduled to return in 2012.

Jeep Gladiator Concept

Jeep CEO Mike Manley also showed off a concept Jeep ““pickup truck hybrid but didn’t say if Chrysler is considering building it.

They should roll out the Jeep Hurricane with the 4-wheel steering into production. Now that’s a hot ride!
