The BMW 1-Series M Coupe will be hitting dealers in Spring 2011 and we’ve been eagerly waiting on some more details on the new pocket rocket.
So far we know that the power will come from an upgraded version of the N55 engine from BMW”s M division making around 340-hp. The German automaker expects the 1-series M Coupe to lap the Nurburgring in 8:07.
More details have hit the internet courtesy of internet forums and we now learn that production of the 1-Series M Coupe will be very limited in production – only 2,700 units will be produced with the United States receiving the largest allocation. The model will only be available with a manual transmission and will only come in three colors including Alpine White, Jet Black and Valencia Orange.
