At the 2010 Paris Motor Show later this month, Daimler AG’s Smart brand will reveal plans for a plug-in electric scooter. While the scooter will debut as a concept, it has the possibility of being produced after the company evaluates consumer reaction at the show.
Smart has released just two sketches without any technical details – however, sources say that the Smart scooter will use lithium-ion batteries and is capable of traveling 60 miles on a single charge.
The Smart display at the 2010 Paris Motor Show will also feature a lightly facelifted version of the ForTwo.
