2009 Ford Focus ST

Following the Honda Civic Type R, the Ford Focus ST is the latest high-performance hatchback to fall victim to forthcoming Euro V emissions regulations. The 2.5L turbo 5-cylinder Focus ST will end production very soon and a successor to the ST, with a 4-cylinder engine is expected to debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show in October.

Honda announced last week that the Civic Type R will end production October 2010 with sales wrapping up in December.

There has yet to be any confirmation on a successor to the Civic Type R.
