Twin-turbo Ferrari Enzo to run at Bonneville

Bonneville Twin-Turbo Ferrari Enzo

Ferrari is currently working on a special-series Enzo that is rumored to be powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine. As exciting as that sounds, a twin-turbo V12 is probably what engineers at Ferrari really want to do. Well, a man by the name of Richard Losee has done just that.

Losee took his crashed Ferrari Enzo and restored and remade it to run at the Bonneville Speed Week in Utah this week. The restored Enzo features twin-turbocharged fitted to the 6.0L V12 engine making 850-hp (standard Enzo makes 651-hp) in low-boost of 11-12 lbs. The boost can be increased between 18 and 20 lbs with an output rating of 1,000-hp. Other modifications include slimmer tires and enhanced aerodynamics with a carbon fiber nose.

No word on what the top speed is but the standard Enzo hits 226 mph so you can use your imagination.
