Video: The Smoking Tire tests 600-hp FireBreather Chevrolet Camaro SS

2011 Shelby GT500 vs 2011 Firebreather Chevrolet Camaro SS

What you’re looking at here is something called a “FireBreather.” Based on the Chevrolet Camaro SS, the FireBreather is a movie car made for an upcoming Michigan-produced movie called Jinn. Movie director and writer Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad teamed up with Classic Design Concepts (CDC) to create the FireBreather for the movie but CDC will make 50 copies for sale to the public.

Starting at $85,000, you can get a black Camaro SS with an Eibach package, custom wheels and tires and a tuned exhaust. For $60,000, you can do the same thing to V6 Camaro. Current 2010 Camaro owners can get the same performance package at participating General Motors dealerships for $34,000.

Our friends at The Smoking Tire recently got behind the 600-hp Chevrolet Camaro SS FireBreather edition and put it up against the Ford Shelby GT500.

Check out the video of their review after the jump.
