The Tesla has shown that an electric car can be a high-end performance car, and has proven the market demand. With luxury brands like Porsche entering the sector as competitors, can Tesla find enough business to survive? And will the Toyota/Lexus partnership with Tesla cannibalize the Tesla S sedan market share? Is there enough demand for all of the electric cars heading to market? Can Tesla survive the increased competition until consumer demand increases?
