Want to buy a new car? There’s an app for that
Starting next month, car shoppers will be able to use their Apple iPhone to get a brand new car paid, financed and insured. Currently, members of the USAA, the insurance company for military, veterans or their family, can research a new vehicle and get price quotes from up to three dealers in the area.
Now they can basically do just about everything without ever walking into a dealership.
The iPhone car-buying app, which is ran by Zag.com, a company that specializes in building a new car-shopping interfaces on websites and other organizations, will launch on August 4.
However, experts warn that car shoppers should still go out to a dealer and take a test-drive of the vehicle before purchasing it.
