Joining the 2011 Ford Flex later this year in dealerships will be the model’s luxury version – the 2011 Lincoln MKX. Prices for the 2011 MKX will start at $39,145 for the front-wheel-drive model and $40,995 for the all-wheel-drive model.

The 2011 Lincoln MKX is powered by the 3.7L Duratec V6 Ti-VCT (the same one in the 2011 Ford Mustang and the 2011 Ford Edge Sport) making 305-hp and a peak torque of 280 lb-ft. Mated to a 6-speed SelectShift automatic with paddle shifters, the 2011 Lincoln MKX averages an EPA-estimated fuel-economy of 19/26 mpg (city/highway) with a combined fuel-economy of 21 mpg. That figure helps it top all its competitors including the Lexus RX350, Cadillac SRX and the BMW X5.

Besides having the SYNC system as standard, the 2011 MKX will also be one of the first FoMoCo vehicles to feature the company”s redesigned interior with MyFord Touch (known as MyLincoln Touch in the MKX).
