2011 Nissan Juke

Nissan announced today that domestic orders for the new Nissan Juke crossover have greatly exceeded the company’s expectations. The Juke was introduced to the Japanese market exactly a month ago from today and has book 10,943 orders to date. That’s more than eight times greater than the company’s monthly sales target of 1,300.

“With JUKE, Nissan ushers in a new genre of vehicles, the compact sports crossover. It combines the agility of a compact sports car with the security and toughness of an SUV,” Nissan said in a statement. “JUKE has attracted a wide range of customers with its high environmental performance that complies with the tax exemption for environmentally friendly vehicles, as well as for its affordable price range.”

The 2011 Nissan Juke will arrive in U.S. showrooms later this fall with prices starting under $20,000. Power will come from a 1.6L direct-injection 4-cylinder turbo making 180-hp / 170 lb-ft of torque.

    Obviously the japanese have something wrong with them if they like this. I'd take an Azteck over this, the Azteck looks better.

    I am not surprised by the Juke's sales numbers because people are becoming obsessed with hybrids and the style of the Juke is alot different from other hybrids on the market.
