Electric supercars seem to be in the near future. Porsche is steadily working on getting its 918 Spyder to the market and Mercedes-Benz’s SLS AMG E-Cell Prototype broke cover yesterday. We now have a video of the SLS AMG E-Cell in action… but the only thing is it’s in German – so if you don’t know German you can just watch some nice driving footage.

Refresher: The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-Cell Prototype is powered by four electric-motors that produce a total of 526-hp with a peak torque of 649 lb-ft. The four motors are positioned near each wheel with a transmission on each end to transfer power to the street. The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG E-Cell goes from 0-60 mph in 4 seconds. While not confirmed, previous reports suggest a total driving range of 110 miles.
