Video: Motor Trend face-off between Mercedes SLS AMG, Audi R8 V10, Porsche 911 Turbo

Here is the ultimate German supercar face-off. The test by Motor Trend pits the 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG against the Audi R8 V10 and the Porsche 911 Turbo.

- Audi R8 V10: Power for the Audi R8 5.2 V10 FSI comes from a 5.2L V10 producing a total of 528-hp. Mated to a R-tronic transmission the R8 5.2 V10 FSI quattro goes from 0 to 60 mph comes in just 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 196 mph.
- Porsche 911 Turbo: Power for the 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo comes from a 3.8L flat-six boxer turbocharged engine making 500-hp with a maximum torque of 516 lb-ft. When combined with Porsche”s new PDK 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the 2010 911 Turbo goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds and keeps going to a top speed of 194 mph.
- Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG: Power comes from a 6.2L V8 making 563-hp with a maximum torque of 479 lb-ft. Mated to an E-SELECT system that controls the AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sport transmission, the SLS AMG can go from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.7 seconds (with the Race Start launch control system) with a top speed of 196 mph.
