The embargo has broken on the new 2011 Volkswagen Jetta, which will make its official premiere tomorrow in New York City. Details are a bit vague right now but we do know that the new Jetta will measure 182.7 inches long, 57.1 inches tall and 70.1 inches wide. The overall length of the 2011 Jetta will be 3.5 inches longer than the current model.
The engine lineup is expected to remain mostly unchanged so look forward to a 2.0L TSI and a 2.0L TDI that are currently used in the Jetta. 6-speed manuals will be standard and a 6-speed DSG will be optional.
The U.S. market will get six versions of the 2011 Jetta including S, SE, SEL, TDI and GLI.
Check back tomorrow for more details and high-res photos.
