2011 Volkswagen Passat — Leaked photo of 2011 Volkswagen Passat

Here is the first picture of the new Volkswagen Passat, leaked before its official world debut at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. Carrying over Volkswagen’s new design theme, the new 2011 Passat looks very similar to the new Polo and Golf from the front.

As far as powertrain options go, the lineup is expected to go on unchanged for the 2011 model year. We’ll see the 1.4L and 1.8L TSI gasoline engines along with the 1.6L and 2.0L TDI diesels.

A high-performance R model featuring a 2.0L turbocharged engine making 270-hp will follow.
