While Audi will be showing different versions of the A1 at the Worthersee Tour 2010, Volkswagen will display a hardcore version of the Volkswagen GTI. Known as the Volkswagen Golf GTI Adidas, the special-edition hatchback gets wider tracks, upgraded brake discs and pads, a lightweight exhaust system and revised springs and dampers.
It also gets black 19-inch alloy wheels with semi-slick tires, new air dams, a new front splitter, rear diffuser, wheel arch extensions and the same bi-xenon headlights and LED tails as the Golf R.
No changes have been made to the 200-hp 2.0L 16-valve DOHC turbocharged 4-cylinder.
The Volkswagen Golf GTI Adidas is set to go on sale in Europe in June and only 4,410 units will be built.
