Maserati announced today that it will debut a special edition version of the Quattroporte Sport GT S at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show next month. Known as the Quattroporte Sport GT S “Awards Edition,” the special-edition version celebrates six years of the Quattroporte’s existence.

Based on the Quattroporte Sport GT S, the special-edition model gets a unique Quarzo fuso exterior color, chrome trims on the side air vents and radiator surround, 20-inch Multi Trident dark grey rims in satin finish and special Brembo brakes that for the first time get polished calipers. The interior also gets some touches with new Poltrona Frau leather seats with Alcantara touched, brushed aluminum door sills and Piano Black satin-finish wood moldings. The boot gets a full black trim finished in chrome touches and a leather side pocket.

All Quattroporte Sport GT S “Awards Edition” models will get a series-plate. Sales begin in the later half of 2010 as a 2011 model year.

IDK how they do it but every version and trim of this thing it just gets hotter

I own an S550 and I'm considering buying a 2010 model for the upgraded lighting design but, I otherwise see no reason to since my car is still perfect.

I was on the road yesterday and happened to see one of the first gen quadropportes. This is probably the most boring luxury car ont he market. For this $150,000 I'd rather take a BMW 7, another S class or even a LS600h.
