I recently purchased this car…3 month wait time and I have another month to go but I read a lot about the DSG. Apparently, the '09 DSG equipped Jetta had a lot of problems. Enough so that a bulletin was issued and VW extended the warranty to 100K miles on the transmission. That being said, I ordered the 6-speed manual trans. Can't wait!

The manual is very nice for what it is, but I think this car is best with the DSG trans. You get quicker 0-60, better milage, and it's fun! The auto is best suited for this car. IT IS AMAZING! Best car I've owned!
