Mini to settle on six models for now, continuously studying new concepts

Following the launch of the 2011 Mini Countryman early next year in the United States, Mini will work on bringing its new Coupe and Roadster model to the roads. The three new models will bring the total number vehicles in Mini’s lineup to six.

According to Mini UK”s general manager Jochen Goller, the brand is constantly evaluating new concepts, but has no immediate plans to expand the range further.

“We”re permanently looking at new concepts,” Goller told AutoCar. “Although there”s nothing to say at the minute.”

The 2011 Mini Countryman will go on sale in Europe later this year with U.S. sales to start in early 2011.
