If these people won't buy new Saabs and continue to drive their old ones why should they be surprised that the company has become a sales failure.

Saab's brand stewardship by GM has been dismal. Saabs of late have been nothing more than Opels, Subarus and domestic GM SUVs. I don't understand what these Saab supporters would hope for with the continuation of Saab under GM management or under a new owner that may take the brand in a totally different direction.
