We had a Chevrolet Venture and I never liked it much. It was very unreliable and uncomfortable. Then we bough the R-class diesel – a great family car. It's a world of difference from minivans. No minivan holds the road and provides comfort, performance and fuel economy like this.

Agree. NEVER a minivan.

Family of 4 (incl baby) = Med SUV, XC90
Family of 4 (no babies or toddlers) = Small SUV, Audi Q5

and yes, the R-Class looks and is a minivan, an UGLY one at that.
