On January 5, Toyota will unveil a new compact car concept for the Indian market at the 10 Auto Expo New Delhi Show. According to The Wall Street Journal, No.2 Japanese automaker Honda will also use the show “globally premiere a new concept small” car.

The concept will hint at a subcompact vehicle for the emerging markets, a Tata Nano like competitor. It will be engineered so it could be sold globally. The Honda CR-Z Hybrid Concept will also debut at the 10 Auto Expo New Delhi Show.

We’ll have more info when both cars make their debuts in India.
