Top three Toyota execs to retire within two months

Steve Sturm, Dave Danzer, and Irv Miller, the group VPs of strategic research and planning and corporate communications, strategic and project planning, environmental and public affairs for Toyota Motor Corp.’s U.S. operation, respectively, will be retiring within the next two months.

Though Toyota does not release the ages of their execs, each of the three leaders has been with the company for at least 20 years.

The losses of Sturm, Danzer and Miller come at a time when Toyota seeks to rebound from the industry’s tough 2009, as well as to rebuild its declining public image following a slew of unintended-acceleration complaints and recalls
