I can do the same with my mobile phone plus if I really wanted 'real' internet connection on the go, I can always get that from my cellular provider .... plus I can take it with me everywhere (not just 150 ft from my car). This reminds me of the corded cellular phone in vehicles in the late 70s and early 80s. Why? another useless and duplicate technology.
