Kia CH Luxury Sports Sedan

The folks over at WorldCarFans are running a picture of what they say is Kia’s entry into the luxury sports sedan segment. The sketch was revealed by Kia’s chief designer, Peter Schreyer, at a design conference near Seoul last Friday. Schreyer, who is best known for designing the Audi TT, compares the car’s design to that of an Audi A8 or BMW 7-Series.

Internally known as the CH, the Kia luxury sports sedan will launch around 2011. It will be Kia’s version of the Hyundai Genesis.

Word on the street is that engine choices will include a V8 for the U.S. market. An 8-speed automatic transmission may also be a part of the game.

Wow! The Genesis sedan was unexpected, but this is a company seeking world domination! Haha..

Not a bad idea. I mean we all laughed at Hyundai when they decided to the Genesis… look how that turned out
