Jeep named Top Domestic Brand in KBB’s 2010 Residual Value Study

Kelley Blue Book ‘s annual resale value analysis reports that 2010 Jeep vehicles will maintain 35.7 percent of their original value after 5 years of ownership, more than 3 percent above the industry average. That makes Jeep the top domestic brand in Kelley Blue Book”s 2010 Residual Value Study.

KBB said that while eight of the brands in top 10 declined versus their 2009 values, Jeep brand’s resale value increased 2.8 percent in 2010. The industry average decline came in at 1.6 percent.

The iconic Jeep brand ranks as the top domestic brand in Kelley Blue Book”s® 2010 Residual Value Study.

According to the annual resale value analysis, new 2010 Jeep brand vehicles will maintain 35.7 percent of their original value after five years of ownership ““ more than 3 percent above the industry average.

While eight of the brands in the study”s top 10 declined versus their 2009 values ““ with the industry average declining 1.6 percent ““ the Jeep brand”s resale value improved 2.8 percent for 2010.
