Some of friends recently hit up Monterey, California with the 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder – taking Stuttgart’s latest model on two of the most challenging and legendary roads in North America, 17-mile Drive and Laureles Grade. Refresher: Weighing in at 2,811 pounds, the 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder is powered by a 3.4L 6-cylinder engine with direct fuel-injection making 320-hp. Mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission and the Sports Chrono package, the Boxster Spyder goes from 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds with a top speed of 166 mph with the roof open.
