The 2011 Ford Fiesta is one of the most significant launches for an American automaker at the 2009 LA Auto Show. When it hits dealerships next year, the 2011 Fiesta will be available with a 1.6L 4-cylinder making 119-hp and 109 lb-ft of torque.
If that doesn’t satisfy your performance needs, you might want to hold out for an EcoBoost version of the Fiesta.
“It”s coming,” Derrick Kuzak, Ford group vice president of global product development, told Automotive News.
It’s unclear yet what the exact specs will be but we’re hoping its the 180-hp 1.6L EcoBoost turbocharged 4-cylinder from the new 2010 Ford C-Max.
